Question Would this work with a LiPo battery?

I was looking at a 2A Lithium Li-ion 18650 3.7V Battery Charger Module DC 5V Converter Power Supply (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2A-Lithi...ule-DC-5V-Converter-Power-Supply/254369681028) for a Raspberry Pi portable I am building. I need a thin battery (at most like 3/4 inch) to be able to fit into my custom case. This title says Li-Ion, but high capacity LiPo cells of the thickness I am looking for are much easier to find. Here is the current Li-Ion battery I have in case I cannot use a LiPo one: https://www.electromaker.io/shop/product/lithium-ion-battery-37v-2000mah.
Thank for the help!

PS:
This battery is for a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W

I believe you would want a specific LiPo charger. From what I am reading the voltage is a little higher at 4.2, so a 3.7 volt charger may give half or less of the possible charge. That and the charging curves and detection are likely different and you risk the battery getting mishandled and failing prematurely.

I don't think it will explode.

I would be concerned about it charging at > 500mA. My experience with LiPo batteries is that if you charge them too fast, even within spec, you destroy them. It looks like the charger will charge them at 2A, the max rating of the battery. Look for another charger that can be "programmed" (you solder the right resistor to the board) to charge slower.

The RPi zero 2 W I have draws about 350mA but I don't use WiFi nor Bluetooth (keyboard/mouse) , so those may suck up a little more. Then add on top of that how much your display will consume. My guess is you'd be lucky to get 4 hours between charges.

Let us know how it turns out.
