Whenever I play Overwatch, my game lags. I don't know what the issue is. I left task manager up on my other monitor while playing, and Power Usage was "Very High" and highlighted in red. I know my parts are not the issue because I have a 2080 super and an i9 9900k. I would hope they aren't the issue. I have an 850w 80+ gold power supply. It only happens in this game and causes my whole computer to lag when I tab out. If you need more information just ask. Thank you!

Thing is, Windows doesn't know anything about your PSU. It's not getting data from it. If it sees a service or app with "very high" power consumption, it's making this assessment based on how much of the CPU and GPU, etc. are being taxed. But it's not an actual measurement of power.

I'm using a wired connection. And I don't know what killer apps/utilities are lol
Your motherboard has a Killer™ E2500 Gigabit LAN controller. Killer has been known to have some flaky apps and performance issues in the past.

Do you know what BIOS version your motherboard has installed?

Has this system been scanned for malware recently?

Also, when gaming, are you also running recording/streaming/game capture apps?

I don't know what version the BIOS is in, and I don't know how to check, or update it. I know it is not up to date though.

I just scanned my PC and there is not any malware.
