Would you buy this used for $800

Someone i know is selling this and i am in need of an upgrade...

would you buy this if you were looking for a new, but used computer? or would i be better off building my own.

Personally I think I op for a new build, cards I've seen go for as low as $100 before when they were on sale, so thats $200.Our newer i5's will beat the i7 940 in gaming performance, the SSD are pretty cheap now and same with ddr3 ram. So off hand it looked to be high end when it was made but now you can match it with a moderate budget in terms of performance.

well for a $900 or $1000 you can build a brand new rig 70% better than this, even with 800$ you can build a quite good rig to game with.

well i would take the $800 and build my own i have plans for this great comp 😱
id pay $450 - $600 max

yeah just build your own, with 800 you could get a better GPU like the 7970 i think is the good one but still cheap plus you dont really need a 900W PSU, you could probably build a cheaper one that runs better
