It was way too hot in the room where I use my computer last night, so I turned on a fan to cool things down. Problem is the way the fan was positioned it was blowing at the monitor at a 45 degree angle like this:

Within 30 minutes things were starting to get blurry on the monitor! I'm wondering, if a fan blows at a monitor for long enough, can it cause permanent damage?
