Lets see, ignorance is BLISS.... Who was it that said that? How could a moron who can't access 30 % of the websites in the internet due to lack of flash and java support (thanks to Apple policies) speak about not having missed anything? Welcome to the age of stupidity and hubris!!!!

My opinion of Woz just decreased substantially.... to say Apple is the "goog guy" when it comes to patents is just intellectually dishonest and shows just how far skewed Woz's view of the world has become...
 
What a bunch of hypocrites. When Woz says he likes Android phones and lined up for a Nexus people thought he was great and knows what quality products are. When he says something good about Apple suddenly he's living in the "reality distortion field".

"the good guy on the block of all of them" HA! They're so good they keep slamming Samsung with lawsuits when Samsung is clearly trying to innovate in the smartphone market. Galaxy SII is the most superior phone to have come out in a long time and the first thing Apple thought of was suing them. Woz is the biggest hypocrite

Other than it not being an iPhone what is so good about the Galaxy SII? ...I tend to think the Razr Maxx is better hardware...for those that like Android, that is. I look at the Galaxy and I see plastic. That just bothers me.

I bought an iPod touch in december 2009. Still works perfectly.

I bought a Garmin nuvi (android) phone in july 2011. The performance has significantly dropped and the battery life is shit.

Stop critizing people for buying Apple products. I understand that apple has gone communist government (control ALL the things) on the patent war, but they still make good, durable products. Although I agree they dumb down hardware (ie graphics cars) and make it seem like it's the best shit you've EVER seen. But then again, they don't EXPECT you to use any other products but their own, as they make a large variety of them.

I'm a techno-phile and have had several Android phones...Evo 4G, Droid Razr, and Droid Razr Maxx. As much as I tried to like Android, I really really did, I kept missing my iPhones...and have returned to a 64GB iPhone 4S. The iPhone DOES have a sharper screen. ...its okay that's its smaller...its clearer. The iPhone 4S does have a better camera (that's kinda important...I have a 28 month old). ...and the iPhone is simpler to use (to me). I had 5 Transformer Primes...each with pixel defects (same bad batch??) My 3rd gen iPad has a beautiful screen, no build quality flaws, and works flawlessly...and doesn't need 4 cores to run smoothly. ...I'm just say'n. My Mac Pro and MacBook Pro have excellent build quality and work well.

If it makes the teenagers feel better to call me an iSheep, go right-on ahead. My flight-sim/gaming rig says otherwise.

Honestly, I prefer the plastic backing of the Samsung Galaxy S II and since I wont have the phone for more than 2 years I think it a better choice, not to mention the added traction and warm to the touch property of the plastic used, as opposed to say the iPhone with its slippery locked-down metal housing; the only thing I don't like about the SGSll is its extreme thinness, but that can be remedied by using an open rubber case. I also like the Razr Maxx very much, but can't come to reconcile myself with the fact that it doesn't have a user replaceable battery, something I demand in a phone since as I often take very long journeys.

I have a bridge to sell you in Florida. I bet you work for iCrap spreading propaganda in bulletin boards. I have met a few of your kind here. I have never met anyone who went from the Samsung Galaxy SII back to the iPhone, never!
 
So how is Apple the good guy in patents? Or did I miss something. Apple may not be the biggest patent troll out there, but my observation has been that they will patent the smallest thing just like all the other behemoths out there. I mean Apple is one of the biggest wealthiest companies out there.. And there are regular articles about their patenting strategies.
 
Apple are not the good guys in anything, really. Sure, they make some products I like fine but in many ways they're the sinister fruit. ...wouldn't be the first time I liked something that was bad.
 

I saw a chart recently comparing the number of patents between tech companies and Apple has half as many as Samsung. They may not have as much as anyone else but they are ruthless with suing other people that that have a similar competing product.
