Is there any hope for an updated release (or at least some support) of
Warhammer Quest? It is the only GW game that my wife and I really play at
this point.

Pretty much none. Fanatic claims to be struggling with the games it has, and
in any case there's little room for expansion with Warhammer Quest so it
wouldn't be worth their while to reissue it.

i think apart of the problem was also re-producing all the card parts and
the cost of doing so on a smaller 'fanatic game' level, especially along
with all the plastic mini's the cost for a new box set identical to the old
one would be horrendous.

This place tries to keep it alive.

No, not really. The rulebook is pretty thick, and the game had a high
component costs; i.e. lots of models. All this makes the game
super-expensive to reproduce.

The new models are mostly multi-piece (except for the box set orcs) so
there's not much incentive to include them in an "all-in-one" game
either.

Your best bet is to track down old issues of Deathblow, and maybe the
Citadel Journal. The "swarm" sprue is still sold, and on the whole,
most of the models are still available.
