Dyn99 :
Okay, so I have some spare parts sitting idle and I figured I would use them to build my parents a PC as they only use laptops and every time I see them they complain about them. Not looking for high-end stuff like a 9XX series GPU or a 1000-watt PSU. Just want enough juice to run and browse the web fast enough and to play some games (dad likes the civilization games & puzzle-type series). I am currently located in B.C. CANADA, so if ya see any deals on a .ca website let me know. (missed a carbide 200r for like 29+free shipping >.<)
What I do have currently are the following:
-CPU: AMD 1090T BE and Intel Pentium G3220
-Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula AM3 and MSI Z87-G45 Gaming LGA1150
-Monitors (like 4 spare now.. )
-Noctua NH-D14(AMD brackets only) and stock Intel Heat sink
What I am currently looking for:
-Reliable case? decent airflow that wont chug dust
-PSU (aiming for 500watts with a at least a bronze standard)
-GPU... thinking a 2gb dedicated but not sure what to go with
-Ram 4gb minimum 1333 at least but 1600 preferred.

This is what I came up with for your AMD stuff. The CM N400 case seems to be pretty well reviewed, comes with two fans, and has a nice, somewhat understated design, if that's what you like. I would also consider the Corsair 200R and the Rosewill Challenger-U3. I use the Challenger for my computer, and I think it's pretty sweet, since it comes with three fans and has room for two more
The GPU isn't anything too special, its a modestly-priced midrange card, looks to be pretty decent for the price. Storage is just some basic stuff I threw together, since I didn't know if you already had an HDD or anything. It should be pretty reliable for the price. I have the same mechanical drive, and apart from being a tad noisy, its great.
PSU, OS, and Network Card: A good PSU, what I consider the minimum for a high-quality PSU. Corsair's CX series is a bit cheaper, but not quite as good imo. The OS is entirely up to you, feel free to go with whatever you want/have here. With the network card, again, this is up to you. If your parents have a place to set up their desktop where they can use Ethernet, then I wouldn't bother with this.
If you want to use the Pentium, feel free to use that CPU/mobo combo instead; everything else should work equally well regardless of which one you use. I do like the Intel's motherboard better, though...
