Depends on what you have.do I need to get a new power supply
I have an EVGA 450 BR 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX PSU, it’s probably about 4-5 years old, as are all the parts in my pc but it was bought new when I got itCompatible adapter is included with GPU.
It looks like so:

Depends on what you have.
PSU make and model (or part number) is? Also, how old the PSU is, and was the PSU bought new or used/refurbished?
lmaoooo knowing that I’m surprised too. My friend made my build for me back in 2020 but I’ll take a look at some of these PSUs.New PSU is a must since EVGA BR-series is low quality PSU, borderline crap. And the fact that your PSU survived so long, is a small miracle.
For a RTX 40-series ATX 3.0/3.1 PSU would be best. So, you can start by looking here,

With ATX 3.0/3.1 PSU, you don't need to use the adapter. The PSU comes with a correct cable that directly connects from PSU to the GPU.
But ATX 2.2/2.5 PSUs also work, when using the adapter. Some such good quality PSUs include: Seasonic Focus/Vertex/PRIME, Corsair RMx/RMi/HXi/AXi, Super Flower Leadex Gold/Platinum/Titanium.
There are ATX 3.0 variants of Seasonic Focus and PRIME. While Seasonic Vertex is ATX 3.0 off the bat.
(My 3x PCs are also powered by Seasonic. I have 2x PRIME TX-650 units and one Focus PX-550 unit. Full specs with pics in my sig.)
Depends on your location, since market availability and pricing differs from country to country. E.g USA, UK, Europe, Asia, Oceania etc.Do you have any recs for the best ones to get on a lower budget?
