Actually there is a difference between a support list and a qualified vendor list. The compatibility lists report devices that meet the manufacturer specifications. The QVL vendor lists are suggested brand named devices (essentially paid advertising).
The supported memory frequencies is what you should pay most attention to.
Yea I contacted gskill yesterday just to see wat they say. They said my memory would support it. Idk honestly. So ima just get the trident z rgb 3200 at 8gb x4 like I was gonna eventually anyway. Cuz those I know are supported for this mobo and if they don’t work then I’ll RMA the board.
On the Tridents, check the amount of clearance that you have with your CPU cooler. I do like G.Skill memory, and I do recommend them. But the Tridents are tall and may interfere with some air coolers.
