So im in the process of building my PC have bought most of the parts apart from 2 that i have on order. However ive yet to decide on my motherboard as i waitedfor ryzen 3000 and there was only one option for x570 matx board. Now my question is as i want future compatability do i buy the only option for matx(case is matx) or get a b450 board? Is there going to be any more boards for ryzen 3 that are matx?

My build so far:

Ryzen 3600
Phanteks Enthoo Evolv MAtx
Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500g
Evga 2060 Super(Back order)
Evga SuperNova G3 650w
G.SKill tridentZ neo 16gb (back order)
Motherboard???

cheers

There is only currently the ASRock Pro4 from my understanding. However there will be more, as ultimately, it's a large market for them to fill still, but they do tend to come out later.

In regards to future capability, there probably won't be much downfall unless you want PCIe Gen4 or USB 3.2 gen 2 capability, if so, you'd have to wait for future X570 boards.
