Of course you could just get a 150 dollar motherboard and a 5700x and save even more. It definitely a decent deal though.

If budget builders have been waiting to upgrade their gaming PC's this might be a great year to do so.

Poor sales by both AMD and Intel appear to be leading to some serious price drops in order to generate some sales/revenue.

The 7900xt is already dropping in price due to the 4070 TI/4080 launch. Should see AMD mid range cards getting good pricing cuts when Nvidia release their 40 series mid tier gpu's.

Yeah, things may be looking up for the pc gamer after all this year.

On the Amazon link they’ve got a 5700x with an msi b550 board as well. Wouldn’t overlook the idea of an i5 13400 and maybe a b660 board. If you are familiar with hardware unboxed on YouTube they did a comparison of the 5700x and 13400. Might be worth considering.
