Earlier today, while I was just browsing on Chrome and playing MIDI files (nothing intensive) my PC randomly shut down and restarted itself, with an Asus Anti-Surge message saying it protected my PC from an unstable power supply. I've had my PC for a year and a half without ever seeing this message before or having any issues with my power supply (NZXT HALE90 v2 1200w). I checked my bios and all the voltages were normal, and when I booted back into Windows everything seemed fine. From what I've been reading, the Asus Anti-Surge is trigger happy, and that it should be disabled. I'm not sure how to proceed from here. Is my power supply bad? Can it really be going bad with no previous issues whatsoever in less than 2 years? Thanks

I went out and bought a Rexus PST-3 PSU tester and all the voltages were fine. Also, booting up the PC again, checking connections and testing I/O showed no issues. Is it possible that there was a power surge or brownout in my area that caused this? Is Anti-Surge faulty? I really don't want to buy another PSU when there seems to be nothing wrong with this one.
