I keep getting this error "fatal error system halted chassis intruded" when I boot. I googled it and people are saying to unplug the CHA_DET cord, but I am not seeing this cord anywhere. Any advice?

Solution
Or if you go into your bios, if Uefi.
Make sure advanced mode is selected.

For an Asus board there is an option via the bios in one of its options menus to disable chassis intrusion detection.
It may take you s bit of time to find it, but the option to disable it is in the bios settings.
If you have the motherboard manual, it will tell you what menu, and sub menu chassis intrusion can be disabled in your bios.
After all that is what the manual for a motherboard is for.

The world is in such a rush, it`s cutting corners that cause problems.
Yet the solution is often right in front of you, in the manual provided with the motherboard.
