Xbox 360 controller not working with some games on Windows 10

So I recently bought a xbox 360 wired controller to play PC games on Windows 10.
The first game I played was Dark Souls 2 SOTFS and everything worked fine.
I then tried The Witcher 3 and Sleeping Dogs and in both of them after some minute of playing, the controller stops working and some random input gets sent to the game.
If, when it stops working, I unplug the controller and then plug it in again, again it works for some minutes and then it stops working.
The thing that really bothers me is that if I connect a Dual Shock 3 and emulate an Xbox 360 controller with it than it works just fine.
Does anyone have any idea which might help me?

Did you install all the drivers for it?

There are no manual drivers for windows 10, as it should install them automatically.
Should I try installing the ones for the 7?

No, just the controller

You should try installing the windows 7 64 bit driver. It will most likely work.
