I just preordered my Xbox one, and the following concerns came to me as I drove home.

I currently use an HDMI monitor for my Xbox 360, using HDMI for video and VGA to connect my turtle beach headset. Now, the Xbox most likely isn't going to have a VGA hook up. When the new turtle beaches come out, do you think there will be a way to hook them up to the Xbox one directly? I'm just wondering because I will be without sound because I'm on a monitor. I know it's impossible to predict what the hardware will be like, but any insight is appreciated.

Thanks.

First of all, I was unaware that audio can be transfered over VGA.... So your turtle beach uses the 15 pin vga for sound? To confirm my knowledge, vga does not support sound thanks to google.

So you must be using USB or 3.5mm headphone jack in which case the XBOX 1 will definitely support it.

The xbox one has an optical port, so any older headsets that use optical you can still get game sound. The only difference is that chat cable connecter, so you will need to get an adapter to be able to chat with your old headset but you will still get sound from the xbox.
