What kind of cable are you using for your controller? It has to be a specific cable, not all USB-C cables work. I guess there is a USB-C cable that does power and a different one that does Power and Data. You have to have a cable that does Power and Data for it to work on Windows. I learned this through personal experience and a few broken controllers afterwards.

Does the controller vibrate when plugged in? What version of Windows are you running? Does the controller turn on when plugged in?

Why are you using of brand controllers? Why can't you just stick with Microsoft and buy the original Xbox controller is plug and play with windows. I use all my xbox one controllers with windows and never had a problem.

Do you have another Micro-USB cable you can try? A different USB port suggested by YoAndy could also work. Also, do you have Windows Updates turned off? If they're off, it won't download them automatically.

You used to be able to download drivers from their website but they removed it. you can still find those drivers on other websites but i dont know if they are safe and they are probably not up to date either.

I've called before and they have the updated ones on file, if you contact them they might be able to give you them (depending on who you're talking to). They might possibly make you reinstall the update for it as well. Good luck, let me know how it goes!

Can you post a link to the actual controller you purchased (and the source). There are fake Xbox One controllers out there, that are very convincing in pics..... but sell for $10 or whatever.

The driver for an xbox controller (one or 360) is 'baked' into Windows 10, but unfortunately not for 8.x
http://support.xbox.com/en-CA/xbox-on-windows/accessories/connect-xbox-one-controller-to-pc

Open device manager, locate xbox controller & auto search for the driver.

already tried to update them several times, havent worked a single time. i bought it from here http://cdon.se/hemelektronik/microsoft-xbox-spelkontroll-med-kabel-for-windows-p39669397
theres not that much info but i googled it and found out that it should work with a cable on windows 7 and 8, and on windows 10 it works with wired and wireless.

They also wrote this Note: To install the Microsoft Xbox One Controller driver successfully, ensure that you have installed the latest .net framework 4.5.
I have the 4.0 not 4.5 so i dont know if thats the problem

Yeah, I'd stay away from drivereasy or any other similar utility.

Yeah, if that's a requirement for a successful driver install - you'll need to update.

Interestingly, on the site you linked; your controller was 399SEK (40EUR / 45USD)
Comparables are much higher:
http://cdon.se/spel/xbox_one_white_wireless_controller-38365001
490SEK (50EUR / 56USD

http://cdon.se/accessoarer/microsoft-xbox-one-wireless-pc-wired-controller-svart-p39591686
709SEK (72EUR / 80USD).

While I'm not saying what you received is not legit........ it does appear to be substantially cheaper than the market rate in Sweden. FWIW.

Is it actually on sale though? To me, it doesn't really look like it's on sale..... looks more like a comparable to Amazon's "list price" vs "price". It never actually sold for the "list price".

Ie like this:

I could be wrong though.
