[SOLVED] Xbox Play Anywhere with Disc

I own a copy of the game Forza Horizon 3 in disc format on Xbox One. I recently built a PC, and wanted to play FH3 on that, as I sold the Xbox, but kept my game discs. I was wondering if my game data would transfer from the Xbox to the PC. I realize that I would have to buy the game again on PC, and I’m fine with that. All I want to know is if the game data will transfer automatically, or if it doesn’t do it automatically, if you can somehow do it manually. To me, there is no point in rebuying the game if I have to start over, so I’d like to know this before I purchase it again.

What do you mean? If this is what you are looking for: it’s a standard Xbox One disc. If it’s not, please specify.

If you buy a digital copy from MS through Xbox Live and are logged into Xbox Live on PC, it may work! Your game save data should be there but maybe not I’ve never tried it but it SHOULD work

yeah um it will work. I had this same issue and all of my data transfered

Because thanks to Xbox live and Microsoft it’s stored in the cloud
