Question Xbox Series X vs Legion 5. Where should I game?

I keep getting no clear answer. Got a Legion 5 and I'm very happy. Specs: https://ibb.co/b2RBq1h

Performance-wise, which system should I choose when gaming, my Series X or my new laptop? Like for Doom Eternal or the upcoming Diablo 4. Talking about pure performance. Is my Series X better due to optimal optimization from the companies or can my laptop run the games easily better? I'll be mostly using an LG C9 on both for 4k.

P.S: Thinking of upgrading to 2x16gb ram but I don't know if that's overkill for gaming or/and considering the rest of the setup.

Do you like to actually game or do you like to tinker a mess around with the PC and drivers?

If you answer that question you’ll have your answer. I prefer the game, so I always choose a console where I don’t have to change or monkey with any settings or install any stupid drivers.
