Hi, I am unsure if anybody will be able to help me however I thought it would be worth a shot, I have never had any problems with anything for around 2 years.
I was playing WoW last night when my computer froze with green outlines around my character and other items, since then I managed to fix it for a short while by uninstalling my gfx card & reinstalling it with new drivers however the problem is now back.
I can boot into windows no problem but as soon as any game starts it freezes with green outlines, I have tried reinstalling DX9 however problem is still happening
I believe the graphics card has gone bad but I am unsure if there may be any other reason for this. Specs of my PC below.
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q550 @ 2.83 GHZ
4GB Ram although running XP 32bit.
XP Pro with SP2
Maxtor 2x 320GB HDDS
XFX 9800GT 512MB
650W PSU
