My card often overheats using the default fan curve, but any time I restart my pc using an updated fan curve in Radeon Software it reverts back to the original fan curve. I am using the 20.1.4 drivers.

I've been having a mad problem with overheating when it comes to my RX 590 Fatboy, do u mind sharing ur fan curve? I've undervolted and such but it keeps overheating.
Sure, although I have had some overheating issues on Fortnite, but this works fine for most other things:
15° 50%
40° 60°
55° 70°
70° 80°
75° 100°
I would suggest not using Radeon software for this as that seemed to amplify the problems.

That's what I'm currently using and i've found a decent fan curve but I think I can make it even better, I get maximum 77 degrees on Warzone with high settings and I've only got 85% fan on 75 celsius. What program do you use?

I've been using the OverdriveN tool, which still has some issues but it is definitely better than Radeon software.

Slightly late to the party here (only a year but who's counting).

I also have a 590 Fatboy, that's basically running 24/7.
When the card is allowed to do it's own thing it's running a little hot.

I'm using a program called Fan Control to control all fans in system.
https://github.com/Rem0o/FanControl.Releases

Also allows me to ramp case fans up or down depending on GPU temp.

For the sake of being through, I'll post the fan curve I have running as well.
It's spending most of it's time between 60 and 70c and I find a static 50% less annoying than always ramping up or down, but I still want the card to be quieter if possible, or ramp the fans higher to the prevent the card from blowing up.
