Hey guys, I just ordered an xl2420t From BenQ`s website and received it yesterday. After i received the monitor and got it plugged in I decided to look for any dead pixels. I found 1. It isnt noticeable unless youre really looking for it. But it doesnt effect any gaming that i do. So my question is, can this ONE dead pixel create more dead pixels down the road? Or am i okay? It really isnt worth it to send it back over this one dead pixel. But if its going to create more problems then i will. What to do?

No, a dead pixel will not cause other dead pixels directly. However, a question arises as to the overall quality of that particular screen as it was manufactured as one part. If there is already one dead pixel on a brand new sceen, how many more pixels will die or get stuck over the next few months? The chances of this happeing are more likely since there is already one dead pixel.

IMHO, if you pay $400+ for a top of the line gaming monitor, it should have no dead pixels. I would send it back.
