Question XMP falling back to stock frequency/voltage

Hi,
I tried to activate the XMP profile to enable the 3200 MT/s the RAM is rated for instead of the stock 2133 MT/s. I checked on Intel and ASRock websites and both the motherboard/chipset and the CPU do support 3200 MT/s natively, but the RAM frequency of 3200 is only shown in the BIOS and not later when the OS boots so I am suspecting a fallback to the default JEDEC frequency. The voltage of 1.35V also falls back to 1.20V. I tried setting everything manually in the BIOS but it has no effect.
Can anyone help me and tell me if I missed something?

Specs:
- Motherboard ASRock B560M-ITX/ac (BIOS fully updated)
- CPU Intel i5 11400
- RAM Corsair Vengence LPX 3200 (2x16GB)
- OS Linux (Arch)

Is your ram a single matched kit, or, is it two instances of the same part number?
Mismatched ram may have two conflicting xmp settings.

For the sake of relevance, please state the BIOS version you're on at this moment of time. If you've flashed the BIOS recently, see if clearing the CMOS helps. In order to do so, disconnect from the wall and display, then remove the CMOS battery, press and hold down the power button for 30secs to drain any residual power, then replace the battery after 30mins.

You could just start with leaving the timings and voltage on Auto, then manually set the frequency to DDR4-3200MHz

- I also tried removing a module without success (single channel mode also stays at 2133 regardless of the settings)
- BIOS has the latest update, ie. 2.00
- I'll try clearing the CMOS tonight
- Leaving everything on auto except the frequency manually set to 3200 was already tried unsuccessfully

So I noticed that there was a beta BIOS (L2.02) on ASRock website. Not sure why it helped, but it's actually working now. Thank you anyways for the help!
