xp and SATA hard drives

Yep. Just make sure you get the driver for the sata chip you're using before you try installing windows. XP can't detect your sata chip from the cd (maybe if you have sp1 slipstreamed?) so you'll have to load the driver from a floppy when xp setup asks. After that it's a piece of cake.
