New to XP and networking. Would like to transfer files
from Wme to Wxp machine. ME pc does not have network card
but I could install one. Would I use CAT 5E crossover
cable? Do I need hub?
OR.... would it be easier to use the unused parallel
printer ports on both PC's (with apropriate cable)?
OR... should I just burn files to CD and transfer that
way?
Thanks for any help

Using a NIC in each PC you simply need a crossover cable, no hub is needed.
However if the PC has a CD-RW drive I would just do it that way.
