XP restoration incompete

I would love some help on this subject. I am trying to do a system restore and keep getting restoration incomplete. I have booted into safe mode and tried to restore and even safe mode with Command prompt and run restore, i still get the same error message.
Can anybody help please

Maybe you ran out of HDD space to keep the image for the restore. Check your HDD free space.
Try a restore to an earlier time.

Thank you for the quick reply, I have a 1tb hard drive with over 700gb free

I have tried this but doesn't restore to any point in the past. I have a 1tb hard drive with over 800gb left

Have you set up Restore so that it starts?

Why do you want to do a Restore?
