XP SP2 Download

Downloaded SP2 and received an error message at startup.
"Expected version of the product was not found on your system."
I installed XP last month. Do you suppose it already has the update?

Go to Start > Run and type: WINVER , and hit enter.
Do you see "Version 5.1 (Build 2600)?
