Yahoo! CEO Says Google Has a Growth Problem

Just FYI, Googles revenue is about 97% based on advertising (which they themselves classify in the same branch as search. Sure they do a hell of alot more than that but revenue wise, the money is coming from advertising.
Now what i don't is where she is getting her information that google is apparently not interesting, while I can't remember the last time I even saw the word yahoo! Sure their revenue might not be so highly based on search, but thats because no one uses their search engine!

I agree with the post above, Eric Schmidt is probably the most honest and ethical CEO I've ever heard about.

47M for this.!! I can do it for half and then even help the environment by contributing for organisations such as CARE the same she spends on makeup.. Another point added for job's smartness wherein he himself does this.. $$ saved is $$ earned..
 
This woman is vapid. Google is overreaching itself, and it's getting way too big for its own britches. It won't be too many years before the feds start taking notice, if they haven't already.

She's about a decade late with this statement... What she said is exactly what google has been doing for the past 5 years. Including gmail...
Sounds like she just wanted to get in the news because yahoo is suffering due to google's success.
 
I laugh at everything she said.
"Google has to grow a company the size of Yahoo every year to be interesting."

Google is "bigger" than Yahoo! at present
Google is more interesting than Yahoo! at present

However, Yahoo! is not trying (or not trying so good) to take over the world.
 
You know, this explains a lot, actually. Yahoo's CEO doesn't even have the slightest clue about what their biggest competitor does. There's a reason Yahoo's been struggling...

There actually is a messenger built into gmail.
 
Thats funny because I thought yahoo was 99.99% only search engine. Who the F is Carol ....? She just wants some spotlight to get her name out there. Wait, what was her name again?
 
But it is a valid question if Google is ever going to make money of of something other than search.

Clearly shes uninformed and frankly i question her ability to be CEO of a company the size of yahoo spouting moronic statements like that.
Just like i hated Sarah Palin ad listening to her nonsense in 08..
 
I rarely visit yahoo now. As I remember I visited yahoo home page not more than 2 times this year! 😛
