yahoo mail problems

I was recently looking for an older email in my yahoo mail account. It wasn't saved to a folder, just in the Inbox. I found I am unable to see mail beyond 4/14/2014. I changed to basic settings and I still can't go back any father. I did not delete them, they were important to me. Any idea on how to find these emails? If I knew what they were, I could search for them but I just remember that they were receipts, pictures and a few other things I needed, i.e. warranty stuff, etc.

If I'm not mistaken, most email provider deletes one year old email unless it's save to a folder.

You might try talking to yahoo directly

If something is important you should never just trust it to someone else. Always have at minimum a backup, and if it is really really important you should have local and offsite backup.
External drives are cheap and you can get 100gb of google drive for $2 a month. No excuse.

That's odd, I had them about a month ago. I wish I had known that, I certainly would have saved them.
