First I intended to get my hand on one but later I put off the purchase. Still, I trust Yamaha and my next CD-RW will be Yamaha. But I wait for such Y-model which applies some sort of BurnProof technology. Good reading.
Oh, one more thing. Sock declared Plextor is the best. Well, I'd argue with that. <font color=red> Plextor is <i> one of the best </i> <b> as well as Yamaha </b> </font color=red>. As for me I prefer Yamaha

For instance, Plextor drives do not know simulated writing which could be seem negligable BUT it is not! In real it's very important. But enough I do not intend to trigger a flood... 3;-)))
