Looking to work out a way to get 2 pc's to pick up 1 mic, I have the mixer mentioned in the title and have a 2pc stream setup. My plan was:
Mic > 2 way XLR splitter, one XLR > Mixer > streaming pc
Other XLR > Gaming pc Mic input
The issue I have at the moment, is the splitter was just a cheap one from ebay and causes considerable static noise, but I've not heard of any of the brands in the UK that offer them so not sure if they are any good or just cheap Chinese imports on ebay.
Is there another way?
Someone mentioned virtual audio cable on a post I saw but I did not really understand it all and it was nothing like my set up.
