Why don't you go to the Byzantine Divine Liturgy with children? Mine like
it better than Roman Catholic Mass.

They're grossed ovt by the Commvnion practices 🙁
[The Byzantines have the bread and wine together in a chalice, and teh
deacon or priest drops it on the commvnicant's tongve]

They also don't like the incense. [It's a *very* small chvrch;
something like 8 pews on each side]

Actvally, the older of the two no longer minds. Her class spent a day
at a larger Byzantine parish and learned a lot; now she's happy at
either.

One of their deacons is a friend of mine, and he told me that he covld
give them jvst wine. Not long after I had the twins there, and he
called after me to remind me--bvt they haven't had their First Commvnion
yet, so . . .

My wife doesn't like what's going on in the Litvrgy (she already learned
the Roman litvrgy a covple of years before we met, having been raised
very generic Protestant).

Easy, just designate the left half of each level as the West and the
right half as the East and apply Easter effects only in the half where
Easter currently applies.
