I know, it's been answered before but here I go, recently got a new PC built it and everything! My ssd/western digital hard drive BOTH show up in bios the ssd being the bot option #1 and hard drive boot option #2 WHATEVER. The main thing that is "triggering" me is the only thing in my PC options settings in Windows that is popping up is the ssd all I wanted to install on it was Windows! So yeah I did research and right click on my PCgo to manager or whatever and then go to device management but the only thing that appears there is my ssd not my hard drive that SHOULD be there! Could my hard drive be broken?

Hi there Ugxleader,

Sorry that you are facing some issues with your WD drive. 🙁

As this could be some sort of a connection related issue, you can start with something simple as just attaching the drive with different cables to another SATA port.
In case the issue persist, you can go to your MOBO's website and update drivers.

If this doesn't help as well, then I believe you will need to take the drive out and attach it to another system. That way, you will be 100% sure if there is something wrong with your system or the drive itself.
