Hi there! I've been having some trouble getting my Fallout 3 GOTY to work right, namely that at random points in the game, the mouse and keyboard lock up and the game continues to run. I've discovered that this is because the window loses focus when Windows 7 (Ultimate N) gives me a "Fallout3.exe has stopped working" message. I look in the Error Log, and it gives me:
Interestingly enough, it seems that after doing a fresh install, the game runs fine until the next time I try and play.
I have completely updated drivers for my video card, but my sound card's driver installer is giving me trouble. This, however, is for another time. I do not feel the sound card is related to this anyway.
Please, please, PLEASE help. I can't figure out where to go next.

It seems my Fallout3.exe has some kind of problem, and it's not a dll or something like that. I've tried everything, from switching compatabilities everywhere, installing patches, I even tried a third-party fix! Nothing works. Inevitably, after a few minutes of play time, the game stops.- System
