Basically, I'm a complete idiot.
I wanted to increase performance ingame for my Dell XPS L502X with Nvidia gt525m
I heard that old driver entries clashed with newer entries
So off I went to guru 3d to download driver sweeper
I downloaded it and then analysed nvidia. And then i clicked clean with all the entries checked without looking at it
I hadnt even uninstalled a driver
I restarted and windows 7 started in 800x600 resolution
then i clicked on nvidia settings in tray and it said "You are not currently using a display attacked to a nvidia gpu"
I have looked through every thread possible and nothing works
I dont have any working system restore points
And i really dont want to reinstall windows 7

I have rolled back the driver and nothing happened
I have uninstalled all nvidia drivers and then used driver sweeper
Still nothing works and it still says the same thing

Please someone have a fix for this
I cant do anything, i can barely play online tetris, let alone blacklight retribution

thank you, please help

Yes i opened the dell file then its automatically extracted the files. And then i went to c:\dell\drivers\6PNDN and then ran the setup within that folder
