I'm looking for a 'budget' graphics card, and I think it would be kind of cool to have an off brand card that *surprise* doesn't suck! At least not when compared to other budget cards (and could get better with more mature drivers).

but still, GF2 MX is the bang of the buck coz no matter how mature its driver gets, it still doesn't have a T&L engine.

Bah, I'm sick of Nvidia. Sick of ATi. Sick of 3DFX. I want a card from someone else. Just so I can be differant.

And the Pyro doesn't look bad... with the 32MB version most likely being under $100, it should be a solid contender against the GF2 MX!

under a hundred sounds good, but for 135 on pricewatch you can get a gforce256ddr- creative labs anhialator pro. for 135, I may ditch my guillemot exentor32 (tnt2U chip) myself and go with that. It's a great deal and almost always out performs geforce2mx's.
