My computer can connect to the wireless network but cannot get internet access, even though when I check the network status it says that IPv4 and IPv6 both have internet connectivity. I have tried the usual fixes such as power cycling the router, modem, and computer, as well as going into an elevated command prompt and giving the commands
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

These steps sometimes help for a few minutes to a few hours, but it always goes back to no internet connectivity, and even when it's working for a short time a diagnostic on the network adapter still comes up with the DNS connectivity error. I'm at my wits end. Short of formatting and reinstalling Windows 7 I'm out of ideas. Any ideas for a fix would be greatly appreciated.

If you need any other info please let me know, and I will try to provide it.
