Your GPU Recommendation

I recently sold my VTX3D 7870 because it was nothing but a headache since i got it.

Kept hitting 80-100C when gaming,fan had to be set to stupid levels to keep it down and became too noisy. Looking to get something else for under £150 that can handle games like BF4 & on Ultra is possible. I hear BF4 will run smoother on AMD cards which i honestly doubt will matter that much anyway.

I trust most of the recommendations on this site so will purchase whatever is most recommended.

Your problem is that you got a card from a bad manufacturer. The top 3 manufacturers are Asus, Gigabyte and Sapphire. They all have been around since the dawn of the 3D capable graphic cards. All the new PNY, EVGA, Club 3D, XFX, Zotac and specially MSI (the only thing I have against MSI is that 50% of their products I used broke down amazingly fast) and other bull**** may be cheaper, throw in more FPS, but they are never of the same build quality. If I were you, I would just pick up a
