Question Z390 Elite Issues

Hi all,

I recently update a few components on my PC which is now running:

Aorus Z390 Elite MoBo
i5-9600KF
MSI 1060 6GB
2 x 8GB HyperX Ram
Aorus 280 CPU Cooler
XFX TS 650W Gold PSU

I put everything together, worked fine for a day, but when I was installing an RGB fan it died on me and doesn't turn on at all, no fans, nothing. The MoBo itself flashes every 3 seconds or so, or at least it did, and when I do the paperclip trick with the PSU it starts up the HDDs. Any ideas as to what the issue could be?

did you install the fan while the system was plugged to the wall?

Did you remove the RGB fan after this?

reset the BIOS by jumper

Yeah, the system was plugged in just turned off. RGB fan has since been removed but when it was in, I plugged the fan itself into its 4 pin connector and the RGB cable into the 3 pin connector labelled DLED_V_SW2

We need more details here. I just checked the motherboard manual and DLED_V_SW1 and DLED_V_SW2 aren't header where you plug fan rgb cable. They are just jumpers (already there? or what am I missing?) that decide if the D_LED1 and D_LED2 headers use 5V or 12V.

The fans are 2 x Deepcool CF120. So what would be the RGB headers?
