hey guys, would be grateful if you could help me update my video card,

I have an old hp z800 workstation
Specs:
Hp z800
Two processors xeon x5675 3.10ghz
Two rams ddr3 2x16
Ssd samsung 256 gb
Hdd 1tb
Motherboard ddr5
Graphics card Nvidia quadro 4000 ddr5

What is the best graphics videocard for that workstation

I work as an architect, and I use video editing and rendering programs. What I more concerned about is the performance of viewports.

First you really want 6 DIMMs in that box to provide full RAM bandwidth to those CPUs. If you only have 1 DIMM per socket then you only have 1/3 the bandwidth.
That might help your performance problems.

Memory modules. The X5675 CPUs -- https://ark.intel.com/content/www/u...5-12m-cache-3-06-ghz-6-40-gt-s-intel-qpi.html have 3 memory channels. If you have 2x16GB memory modules then you are only providing 1/3 the memory bandwidth to those CPUs.
Since you have two CPU sockets and each of them is optimized for three memory modules you should have six memory modules installed for maximum performance.
