z97 asus pro q code 99

Okay guys I have everything up and running besides a couple of things. I have the q code 99 on. I talked to support the other day and they told me that I had to ignore the cpu fan speed because I have a liquid cooling system on my cpu instead. The q code did go away, but now it is back. Is there another fan speed or something ?

Also I have windows 8.1 ready to install on a USB. But when i go to the boot menu I do not see USB. I see (UEFI🙁FAT) TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S223C) , (E2:TSSTcorp CDDVDW SHS223C), (E1: Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB)

How do i boot from the USB?

The q code did go away, but now it is back. Is there another fan speed or something ? - wht have you got plugged into your cpu fan header on your motherboard?

If you keep looking you'll eventually find usb and be able to put it into the boot priority list.

List:

cpu: i7 4790k
gpu: g1 gtx 970
ram: corsair vengeance gaming ram 1600, 8x2
mobo: asus z97 pro
liquid cooling on the cpu: corsair h105 (replaces the cpu fan)

Also I only have those three options for the boot menu =/ Is there somewhere else I can look?
