I loved the original Legend of Zelda, but I haven't owned a console game since 1999, I'm strictly a PC gamer.

Is it possible to play that on a PC?

Virtual Console for PC maybe?

I am not sure how to dl that from Nintendo. The program that is used to access the internet to download it is not in the emulator right? So I guess you have to find that and install it on the emulator and then install the game.

I am not a console player. I am just reporting the news. So I am just as clueless, sorry.
