[SOLVED] Zip disk physically stuck

My grandad gave my brother a iOmega 100 zip disk drive and a few zip disks that he used to use at his old business.
However, a few weeks later, the disk got stuck in the drive. I've tried the paperclip hole manual ejection but it does the same as it does when you press the eject button: it pops out slightly and can't be pulled out any further; it won't budge!

Can anyone offer any solutions, please? Thanks~

tried d/c zip drive from pc
power off zip drive
power it back on without attaching to a computer,
and maybe the eject button will work now
