Zotac GTX 680 AMP! vs GTX w/ AMC

I'm trying to decide between two graphics solutions for a new mid-level build. I was going to buy the Zotac GTX 680 AMP (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500248), but read some discouraging reviews, so I decided to look into an after market cooling solution. This is the one I'm considering: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835426026. I'm planning one putting it on a reference Zotac GTX 680 and overclocking it.
I should probably also add that I'm buying zotac for the assassin's creed 3 pack deal, although if anyone has a good reason why I should buy something else, I'm open to suggestions.
The reason I'm posting is to ask if anyone has any opinions one way or the other. This is going to be my first build so I'm just trying to get as much information as I can. If anyone has any personal experience with either product, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks in advance.
