No matter how hard I try to keep the socket clean, there are always traces of paste
Do you think everything is in order? Not perfect but at least safe.

I see a small amount of what looks like thermal paste on two areas on the socket. There's a saying, if it ain't broke, don't fix it but the picture you've posted makes me want to ask, how much are you applying on the CPU's IHS?

Recently, my water cooling was replaced at a service center, there was a lot of MX-4 paste, I cleaned it carefully without removing the processor, then I removed it and saw these marks. I cleaned it with toothpicks along the edges, could this be the reason?
