Zowie FK2 Sensitivity problem

Why does my sensitivity randomly drop by like 50%?
Im using 400 dpi at 2 but it randomly slows down and it feels like 1 @ 400 dpi.
Is my 2 week old FK2 already broken, or is there a fix?
