The voltages should be fine. The issue may be one of compatibility from a different perspective. Dells can be rather picky when it comes to memory.

It appears this memory will work. But I am not seeing any sources to confirm that.

I purchased this computer:
https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/des...p/spd/inspiron-3030-desktop/useitpbts3030gsrt

I wanted to upgrade the computer with this memory:
https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-32gb/p/N82E16820374401

The CPU is a core i7 Intel 14700

Is the memory voltage of 1.35 V to high? Will that damage the motherboard? I don’t know if Dell will accept this voltage? Does this particular CPU accept this voltage at least?

Thanks so much!
Erik W.
Dell has this thing called Support Assistant you might want to give it a test drive just to see what it shows.

Thanks for your help guys!

I found this memory on newegg.com:
https://www.newegg.com/a-tech-32gb/p/0RN-005A-00TY6

It is JEDEC compatible.

My questions is this:
Is this memory timing 46-46-46-90 compatible with the Dell Inspiron 3030 Desktop BIOS?
I don't want to install stuff and mess up the system...

A side note is that the description for the memory said it is compatible with Dell computers :)

Go here and run the scanner see what it shows.

Yea thanks, but my system is so new, that the Inspiron 3030 desktop is not listed... (Also, I have yet not purchased this PC).
I think I am just going to try the memory anyways, unless you guys think I should not.
Although, can you please still advise me if that memory is compatible or not?
