Quest Text: Jodi swung by the farm to ask you to dinner at 7:00 PM. Her only request was that you bring a Largemouth Bass for her fish casserole.

Requirements: Enter Jodi's house with a Largemouth Bass at 7:00 PM on a day of your choice (not a festival day).

To do that, the player is supposed to devise strategies and follow a proper order of the game. The nature of this quest is rather unique as compared to other story challenges. A character named Jodi invites you to a dinner at her place. But she has a requirement. She wants you to come with a fish called largemouth bass. And how to get that fish? Well, this is exactly what this manual is about.
Walkthrough
Unlike an overwhelming majority of quests that open up during different phases of different seasons and years, this quest triggers off when you do a specific action. And that action is to push Jodi to four hearts’ worth of affection. Once you do that, you will receive a little cutscene placed outside your house the very next day. You will see that Jodi has invited you to her house to have dinner with her at her residence around 7 PM. But here’s a catch. You are not supposed to go empty-handed. Jodi wants you to bring with you a certain type of fish called largemouth bass.
This fish is highly elusive but lucky for you; they’re still not too difficult to catch. You can easily manage to grab it. Just follow the rules.
• Largemouth bass fish can be found in a lake which is located near to the mines. Its proper direction is the northeast of the Stardew valley.
• Bass is adept at extricating itself from the net so you have to be wrigglier than that. If you have fishing skill lower than three or four, you will face quite a difficulty in catching one. It is advised to increase your fishing skill beforehand so that you are able to finish quests involving fishing easily.
• Do add a bait. Because this will increase the probability of fish landing to your ruse greatly.
• Once you have held the fish, you might want to bring it to Jodi as soon as possible. Remember the time is 7 PM, and it is the best to get to there in time.
As soon as you enter the house, a cutscene will be triggered marking the end of the quest, which means you are successful. Well, it is not sure whether or not this earns you any reward in the form of gold but it sure increases the boost to affection with Jodi.
