This quest will be triggered off on the 19th of Fall during your first year in the game. A girl Caroline wants a pumpkin for carving purposes, and she asks you to deliver them to her. Caroline wanted to ask earlier but couldn’t.
1. Normally, pumpkins are a crop for the season of fall and are available for purchase at Pierre’s general store, but the pumpkins usually take thirteen to fourteen days to ripen fully. The problem is that you do not have the required number of days as the month is fast drawing to an end.
2. If you want to prevent a year-long wait, you should immediately need to get a Speed-Gro Fertilizer (preferably Deluxe) to get the Pumpkin crop done in timely fashion.
3. It is suggested that you should grow several pumpkins just to make sure that at least one of the pumpkins grows in full at the end of the month. This will increase the likelihood of you getting a pumpkin. And the higher chances of that, the higher your chances of completing the quest without having to wait for an entire year.
4. Once the pumpkin is fully ripened, take it to Caroline. She lives at Pierre’s General Store and most of her day is spent either at the Store or roaming about Pelican Town central. Caroline does not move past the main square.
