Have you by any chance tried re-seating the ram? Sometimes it can "crawl" out of the slot resulting in "hardware reserved".

Does it show the other 4gb as "hardware reserved" in task manager in the lower right under Performance>Memory?

Did you try removing the gpu/ram to see if it changes anything at all? Sounds like a dead mobo imo, possible the cpu could have went but you won't know until you get a replacement motherboard.
