Yep... Too low voltage with too high an overclock can absolutely make a game crash... When you OC, you need to use some sort of stress test to make sure your OC is stable and you need to run it for a while. A lot of people want to run it for like 24 hours to "make sure" it is a good OC...

You sound like you have plenty of air coming through your case... Your temps are high on the gpu but not outside of acceptable limits... However, this seems really high... You might consider putting some better thermal paste on the GPU. It might have bad contact... Maybe see if any screws...

The only thing I would caution against with ebay is the age of the parts... Old computer parts will degrade over time so you might have a shorter life span ahead of you with this chip... However, shorter means it might only run for another 5 to 10 years, after which, it will be obsolete...
